Recombinant Protein Expression Recombinant Proteins designed according to your wishes
Recombinant proteins are proteins that are artificially made through the recombinant DNA technology. Proteins can be used in many areas, such as diagnostic tools, vaccines, therapeutics, detergents, cosmetics, food production, and feed additives. Isolating proteins from their natural sources cannot meet the growing demand on proteins in research and industry. Furthermore, in many cases the recombinant protein must meet certain requirements like a specific Tag, high purity and amount and sequence modifications. At BIOZOL you have the opportunity to exp...
Antibody Production Develop your own monoclonal or polyclonal antibody
Antibodies, or immunoglobulins, are produced by B lymphocytes during the adaptive immune response. Following secretion, they bind with an extremely high degree of specificity to the foreign antigen which stimulated their production. This functions to protect the host from harm by, for example, marking invading pathogens for destruction or preventing viruses from attaching to host cell receptors. Their highly specialised binding makes antibodies a hugely powerful research tool, and they have been used for decades in a wide variety of immunodetection techn...
Transmembrane Protein Expression Service
Transmembrane proteins span the entire phospholipid bilayer of the membrane as integral proteins. Often, transmembrane proteins contain amino acids with hydrophobic side chains that interact with the hydrocarbon chains of the fatty acids in the membranes. The membrane-spanning domains consist of one to several alpha helices or several beta sheets. Additional segments, which can be up to several hundred amino acids long, project into the aqueous environment on either side of the membrane.Transmembrane proteins play an important role in fundamental physiol...
Recombinant Selenoprotein Production Expression of active and selenocysteine-containing proteins
Express and buy your selenoprotein of choice At BIOZOL you can buy more than 25 selenoproteins directly. After request you even have have access to all 837 selenoproteins yet identified in nature, as well as synthetic selenoproteins tailored to your requirements. In humans, there are 25 selenoproteinencoding genes, which are involved in diverse metabolic and physiological functions ranging from antioxidant defense to fertility, muscle development and function, thyroid hormone metabolism, and immune function. Several selenoproteins also have major...
Antibody and Protein Conjugation Conjugate your antibody or protein with a wide range of different tags
Antibody and protein conjugation, also known as antibody and protein labeling, describes the modification of antibodies or proteins by the attachment of specific tags. like enzymes, fluorescent proteins, fluorescent dyes, biotin and strepatividin and different particles. These tags allow directly or indirectly the specific detection of the conjugated antibody or protein and in the case of conjugated antibodies the specific detection of the antigen. Due to this new property, labeled proteins can be used e.g. in localization studies, for compound quantifi...
ELISA and Assay Development Develop your own ELISA or Assay perfectly tailored to your needs
ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is a plate-based assay technique designed for detecting and quantifying peptides, proteins, antibodies and hormones. In an ELISA, an antigen must be immobilized to a solid surface and then complexed with an antibody that is linked to an enzyme. Detection is accomplished by assessing the conjugated enzyme activity via incubation with a substrate to produce a measureable product. The most crucial element of the detection strategy is a highly specific antibody-antigen interaction. ELISAs are typically performed i...

nanoCAR-T mRNA Service Advancing CAR-T cell therapy
Non-viral chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cells are gaining attention for their cancer-killing ability with reduced side effects. Traditional CAR-T cell engineering relies on lentivirus, which causes random chromosomal integration, permanent CAR expression, and adverse effects from persistent immunologic stimulation. To address these issues, mRNA-based CAR-T therapy offers a promising alternative by enabling temporary yet effective CAR expression in T cells. Together with our experienced partner, we provide you a nanoCAR-T mRNA service that advances...
Hybridoma Sequencing Service Give immortality to your antibody
Hybridoma cell lines are the result of a fusion of a B lymphocyte with a myeloma or thymoma cell. Hybridoma cells thus combine the properties of lymphocytes with the immortality of tumour cells. However, the tumour cell used must not express any antibodies. The B-cell hybridoma cell line resulting from the fusion is suitable as a classical source of monoclonal antibodies with defined specificity. Due to their immortality they are now able to produce monoclonal antibodies in large quantities.Hybridoma sequencing involves the sequencing of cDNA encoding th...
